Roberts Pizzarotti Attains OFSC Accreditation

"Safety is an essential precondition in everything we do. It is an essential component of our operating culture and is at the core of our approach to planning and delivering projects." Alison Mirams, Chief Executive Officer, Roberts Pizzarotti

Roberts Pizzarotti has achieved accreditation from the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner, which is the highest federally audited accreditation for work health and safety in our sector.

Being accredited under the Federal Safety (OFSC) Accreditation Scheme means we can enter into head contracts for building work which is both directly and indirectly funded by the Australian Government.

“Safety is an essential precondition in everything we do. It is an essential component of our operating culture and is at the core of our approach to planning and delivering projects.

“To be accredited after only 18 months of operation is a huge milestone for our business and a credit to our EHS and project teams,” said Alison Mirams, CEO, Roberts Pizzarotti.

In a summary of initial audit findings, the Federal Safety Officer commented, “Roberts Pizzarotti has established an excellent WHS management system, management plans, and supporting documents such as work standards and structured forms. The system is extraordinarily mature for a relatively newly developed system.”

In full credit to our people, the Federal Safety Officer later wrote, “The staff from project and corporate levels have an excellent understanding and commitment to the WHS systems and requirements, as demonstrated by the high level of compliance to implementation and ease of navigation through system elements demonstrated by all levels of the business during the audit.”
