Concord Hospital Redevelopment Name the Crane Competition

“I chose SASO because it means stay strong, and I wanted to send that message to cancer patients.” Iris Doh, Concord Public School

The Name the Crane Competition has wrapped up at our Concord Hospital Redevelopment project.

Two crane names were selected from more than 150 entries from the local primary schools and childcare facilities.

The first crane “SASO” has been named by Iris Doh from Concord Public School – “I chose SASO because it means stay strong, and I wanted to send that message to cancer patients.”

The second crane “GIGANTO” has been named by 5 year old Luca Andreassi from Yaralla Childcare Centre (who sent his little sister Ava to the ceremony).

Iris and Ava both donned hard hats and directed the Roberts Pizzarotti crane driver Nik Mamas to hoist up their chosen names.
